Above all GIRÓ is a painter.

He works with oil, on wood, on zinc or canevas and also creates sculptures.

His choice for oil doesn’t mean he is nostalgic : the time it takes to dry allows GIRÓ to dialogue longer with the pictorial material.

The supports are various but GIRÓ privileged wood at the begenning of his learning.

With this technique he can as well add as take off material and wood from the support.

Only a strong support as wood or as zinc allows a virile and attractive expression.

The work of art is transformed by the action of the different machines (sanding and drilling machine).

The result is as for a fruit tree which would have been pruned or transplanted.

This gives the work of art a unique character and it increases the quality of its fruits.
